Lawn Bowls New Zealand
![]() Do you not know much about lawn bowls? Then no need to worry. Neither did we in the beginning. Basically it is somehing that the retired people play a lot, but in the last few years the younger crowd ie 25-45 year olds have been giving it a go as well and realised that this is a fun game to play and can get competative as well. Either by joining their new incentive "mates in bowls" or trying the game at a hens, stag, birthday or work party. A little bit about the sport, but don't worry someone on the day will explain how it all works. Bowls is a sport in which the objective is to roll slightly asymmetric balls, called bowls, so that they stop close to a smaller—normally white—bowl called the "jack" or "kitty". Also known as "lawn bowls". Allow 2 hours and have some drinks afterwards in the bar. Combine it with another activity, so check out your city and see what else can be done. |
