Claybird Shooting Matakana Island

Matakana Island is only a 15-20 min boat cruise ride from Tauranga or the Mount. Here you will be picked up by your very own private 40 seater boat. It will take you to the island and also bring you back at the end of the afternoon.

On the island you will be well looked after. They love people coming over and are used to all sorts of groups ranging from birthday, work and stag and hen parties.

Here you will be doing some claybird shooting and each get plenty of shots. It will be done as a competition so great fun. Afterwards you can either cook up some food on a portable BBQ (will be supplied) - all you need to do is BYO meat and beers.

If you fancy seeing more of the island we can transport you around to a local bar at the rugby ground or you can throw of a line on the small pier.

Allow 3-4 hours for this activity. Do note no drinking prior to this activity.

Why not get dropped on at the Mount afterwards and have a stripper meet you in one of the bars.
