Wellington - The windy city is also the capital of NZ and for full on parties, with its stunning harbour and surrounding hills all major roads lead to Wellington. It is the easiest of the NZ cities to explore by foot, meaning at night you can normally walk back to your hotel half sozzled. Great for the bride and the rest of the hen party.

You can walk from one end to the other in under half and hour, stop off and enjoy a coffee, have beer or explore the many art and culture centres along the way.
